The position supports independent and collaborative work, experimental design, data generation and analysis, and mentoring of trainees, with salary based on NRSA postdoctoral stipend schedule.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., reproductive biology, molecular biology, cell biology).
• Experience with molecular biology techniques and experimental design.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a research team.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Desirable experience with next-generation sequencing and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab-based experiments using molecular biology techniques, including RNA isolation and library preparation.
• Support workflows related to spatial transcriptomics and sequencing-based assays.
• Design, execute, and optimize experiments using human tissues and in vitro models.
• Maintain accurate experimental records per regulatory and funding requirements.
• Analyze and interpret data in collaboration with the PI and team.
• Contribute to manuscripts, reports, and presentations.
• Mentor students and junior lab members.
• Maintain lab organization, safety, and compliance.
• Coordinate with collaborators and core facilities to support objectives.
