Zusammenfassung

UC Santa Barbara invites applications for a postdoctoral scholar to lead a new research program examining how wildlife communities respond to the expanding wildland-urban interface in the Santa Barbara foothills.

The successful candidate will design and conduct field and analytical work, mentor students, manage data, and publish results from studies using camera traps, DNA approaches, and ecological modeling.

Qualifikationen

• Ph.D. in ecology or related field completed before applying.
• Strong experimental design and statistical analysis skills.
• Record of peer-reviewed publication in relevant area.

Aufgaben

• Lead development of a new research program on wildlife responses to wildland-urban interfaces.
• Design and conduct field sampling, data management, and analyses.
