Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow to advance implementation science for dementia-related public health initiatives. You will help establish a national registry of Healthy Brain Initiative actions and coach sites to adopt more strategies, working with state, local and tribal programs across the country.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, publish findings, and receive mentorship to prepare for an independent research

Qualifications

• PhD in public health or related field by start date.
• Experience with CFIR, ERIC, RE-AIM or Proctor's implementation outcomes.
• Experience with systematic document review and qualitative coding.
• Mixed-methods skills; familiarity with qualitative analysis software and a statistical package.
• Experience with state/local/tribal health departments or CDC-funded programs preferred.
• Background in aging, dementia, caregiving or chronic disease prevention preferred.
• Experience with American Indian or Alaska Native communities preferred.
• Experience with TA, learning collaboratives or facilitation; familiarity with dashboard tools (REDCap, Airtable, Tableau) preferred.
• Excellent scientific writing and oral communication; demonstrated scholarly productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation science work behind the ADRD Public Health Adoption Accelerator.
• Build and run a national registry of Healthy Brain Initiative actions.
• Provide coaching and support to sites to adopt more actions.
• Collaborate with health departments and tribal programs nationwide; mentor for an independent research career.
