Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle invites applications for a Post Doctoral Research Fellow to join a collaborative, well-funded lab and to advance discoveries in cell biology and neurobiology.

You will anchor in an established project, develop an independent niche, and pursue high-impact, field-shaping research with access to genomics, imaging, proteomics cores, and a strong mentoring environment on a vibrant campus.

Qualifications

• PhD (recent or within ~6 months) in cell biology, neurobiology, biochemistry, genetics or related field
• Strong foundation in molecular and cell biology
• Background in focus areas; familiarity with Drosophila genetics and/or mammalian cell culture desirable
• Creative, independent thinker who thrives in a collaborative team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
