The G.O. Discovery Laboratory at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar under the supervision of Professor Sanaz Memarzadeh, M.D., Ph.D.

The position develops translational research to impact patient care in gynecologic cancers and involves mentoring trainees, data analysis, and grant writing. Ideal candidates have a strong publication record with first-author papers and experience across molecular biology techniques, immunology, and genomics.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in a relevant field.
• Experience with molecular biology techniques, microscopy, IHC, FACS.
• Experience with viral vectors, stem cells and genomics.

Responsibilities

• Mentor trainees under the PI in the laboratory.
• Gather and analyze data; prepare presentations and manuscripts.
• Write and prepare grant applications.
• Collaborate with PI and collaborators on research projects.
