Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a postdoctoral fellow to join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. The project investigates atherosclerosis inflammation using small and large animal models and novel molecular imaging from intravascular microscopy to catheter-based approaches.

The candidate should have a PhD, MD/PhD, or MD with lab experience in biomedicine, with strengths in molecular biology, microscopy, and flow cytometry.

Qualifications

• PhD., M.D., PhD. or equivalent
• Research experience in Atherosclerosis, Vascular Biology, Microscopy, Molecular Biology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with mouse or large animal surgical models, intravital imaging, cell culture, cell and molecular biology, and flow cytometry, is highly desirable
• Excellent organizational skills, working independently and as a team member, collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Investigate atherosclerosis inflammation using small and large animal models
• Utilize intravital microscopy and intravascular imaging to study inflammation
