Qualifications

Strong background in AI, ML, CV, or computational science.
Excellent Python programming and experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
Demonstrated scholarly publications in high-quality conferences and journals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary research environments.

Responsibilities

Develop AI and computer vision algorithms to assess surgical performance from video.
Design and evaluate video foundation models for skill assessment.
Create explainable AI methods to provide formative feedback.
Integrate multimodal data to improve assessment accuracy.
Mentor graduate and undergraduate researchers and publish findings.
