MaineHealth Institute for Research in Scarborough, ME seeks a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to develop cutting-edge AI models for healthcare and biological discovery. The role collaborates with clinicians, biologists and computational scientists, leveraging large-scale datasets and GPU resources.

The successful candidate will lead research projects, publish findings, and contribute to grants while advancing clinically meaningful AI tools for patient care.

Formación

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant field (Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, CS, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python, Linux and deep learning frameworks.
• Strong publication record in relevant fields.
• Ability to mentor and collaborate across clinical and computational teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop AI models for healthcare and biological discovery.
• Lead and contribute to projects addressing clinical and biological questions.
• Collaborate with clinicians, biologists and data scientists to translate tools into practice.
• Mentor junior lab members and support grant development.
