Job summary

Oak Ridge National Laboratory invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate with expertise in condensed-matter physics and materials science. Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant science completed within the last five years.
• Strong background in condensed-matter physics and materials science.
• Experience with multiscale and multifidelity simulations and AI/ML methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop HPC workflows for multi-fidelity simulations to predict structural and electronic properties.
• Create physics-informed AI/ML surrogate models for materials discovery.
• Bridge length- and time-scales in simulations using AI/ML approaches.
• Design, train, and validate AI models to guide experiments and synthesis.
