Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) seeks a postdoctoral researcher to develop AI and computer vision methods for national security. You will analyze image data from SEM, optical microscopy, overhead imagery, and video, and work on multimodal data fusion with other heterogeneous data.

Collaboration across disciplines and dissemination through reports and publications are integral to this role. The position requires a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Experience with AI and computer vision algorithm development.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Experience scaling models in cloud or HPC environments.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative AI and computer vision methods for national security applications.
• Analyze image data from SEM, optical microscopy, overhead imagery, and video, including multimodal data fusion.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and communicate results through reports and publications.
