Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in chemistry, atmospheric science, environmental science, engineering, or closely related field.
• Hands-on experience with instrument calibration and operation.
• Data analysis experience.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis and coding (e.g., Python, R).
• Strong organizational skills with experience in laboratory operations.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with standard laboratory safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation of aerosol instrumentation during field deployments (ACSM, SMPS).
• Collaborate with graduate students and collaborators on CI-ToF-MS data collection and analysis.
• Lead data processing and analysis for ACSM/SMPS and assist CI-ToF-MS data analysis.
• Mentor a graduate student in deployments.
