Job summary

Google is seeking a Gemini Post-training Software Engineer at the DeepMind group to advance post-training models and scalable AI systems in Mountain View or New York. You will contribute to the Gemini project, train and evaluate agents, and push the boundaries of reinforcement learning in multimodal environments.

The role requires deep expertise in ML, Python, and TensorFlow, with opportunities to collaborate across AI safety, research, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience designing, training, and evaluating machine learning models.
• Experience in Python programming.
• Experience in test writing for ML purposes either in TensorFlow or similar for post-silicon data collection, and pre-silicon modeling and correlation.
• Experience with Large Language Models, NLP, or Generative AI.

• Make core contributions to Gemini that advance what digital agents can do and are deployable into production.
• Identify model areas of improvement.
• Train and evaluate agents across various digital environments.
