Job summary

Piedmont HealthCare’s Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver compassionate nursing care to patients across the lifecycle. You will apply nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while adhering to organizational policies and standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care activities of the assigned staff to ensure high-quality, safe care. A valid Georgia RN license and BCLS are required; new graduates eligible and advanced certifications

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Georgia RN license or multistate license required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required.
• New graduates eligible; 1 year hospital experience preferred for some roles.
• Advanced specialty certification encouraged where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality care.
• Adhere to organizational policies and promote professional growth and accountability.

Education

Graduate from recognized school of nursing

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Georgia RN licensure

Basic Life Support (BCLS)

Advanced certification in specialty (if applicable)
