Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle in a fast-paced hospital setting. The nurse will perform assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation of care within organizational policies and standards.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure and BCLS certification with preference for candidates who have hospital experience or new graduates eligible for PRN roles.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (required).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• New graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Maintain standards of practice and accountability.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
