Responsibilities

  • Maintain oversight of all post-foreclosure sale activities for assigned accounts.
  • Monitor deed recording activity to ensure timeliness and requirements are met.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to deed vesting, recording, and post-sale title requirements.
  • Monitor third-party fund applications and ensure completion.
  • Handle end-to-end eviction monitoring and oversight.
  • Coordinate with auction vendors on FHA Second Chance process where applicable.
  • Use workflow reports to prioritize accounts and ensure post-sale timelines.
  • Monitor exception reporting and drive resolutions for aging or at-risk accounts.
  • Identify process gaps or performance concerns and elevate issues.
  • Document post-sale activities and account status timely and accurately.
  • Collaborate with foreclosure attorneys, auction vendors, and internal partners to improve post-sale performance.
  • Monitor attorney and vendor performance against SLAs and timelines.
  • Ensure all post-sale activities comply with investor, regulatory, contractual, and company requirements.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and maintain compliance.

Job description

The Post-Sale Specialist is responsible for monitoring, managing, and completing all functions associated with post-foreclosure sale activities. This position provides oversight of the post-sale process, including deed recordings, third-party fund applications, evictions, and the FHA Second Chance process, ensuring all activities are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with established investor, regulatory, and company requirements.

The Post-Sale Specialist is responsible for actively managing assigned accounts and coordinating with internal teams, attorneys, vendors, and other third parties to resolve issues, maintain established timelines, and drive timely completion of post-sale activities. The role requires consistent monitoring of work queues, identification and escalation of potential delays or risks, and effective follow-up with service providers to improve overall performance.

This position is accountable for managing work in accordance with established procedures, work rules, goals, and objectives, with a strong focus on timeline adherence, quality, compliance, and attorney performance.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain complete oversight of all post-foreclosure sale activities for assigned accounts, ensuring timely and accurate completion of required functions.
  • Monitor deed recording activity to ensure deeds are recorded within established timelines and requirements.
  • Identify, research, and resolve issues related to deed vesting, recording, and other post-sale title requirements.
  • Monitor assigned accounts for required third-party fund applications and ensure appropriate follow-up and completion.
  • Handle end to end eviction monitoring and oversight.
  • Coordinate with auction vendors on the FHA Second Chance process for applicable accounts, ensuring required actions are completed timely and in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Manage and utilize workflow reports to prioritize accounts, drive timely action, and ensure adherence to established post-sale timelines.
  • Monitor and manage exception reporting to identify outstanding, aging, or at-risk accounts and drive appropriate resolution.
  • Proactively identify process gaps, delays, and performance concerns and elevate issues as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of post-sale activities, actions taken, and account status.
  • Collaborate with foreclosure attorneys, auction vendors, internal business partners, and other third parties to resolve issues and improve post-sale performance.
  • Monitor attorney and vendor performance against established service levels, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Ensure all post-sale activities are performed in accordance with applicable investor, regulatory, contractual, and company requirements.
  • Adhere strictly to departmental and company policies, always maintaining compliance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

    • 3+ years of Foreclosure/Post Sale experience
    • 3+ years of GSE servicing experience
    • 3+ years of GNMA servicing experience
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments
    • Microsoft experience, specifically Excel
  • Preferred
    • LoanSphere and MSP experience
