Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Post Quantum Cryptography Engineer to join our team supporting cryptographers, mathematicians, and physicists in developing PQC solutions across architectures. You will help transition environments to post-quantum standards and analyze OS and network configurations for advanced methodologies.

The role requires PQC engineering experience, programming in Python, Rust, or C++, and the ability to produce accreditation documentation.

Qualifications

• PQC scientist/engineer experience required.
• Experience leading small projects.
• Experience evaluating trust architectures and cryptographic approaches.
• Experience with software development, cybersecurity, or network engineering.
• Programming in Python, Rust, or C++ and low-level concepts.
• Knowledge of secure network protocols, PKI, and related services.
• Ability to develop technical documentation for accreditation using information security.
• Ability to collaborate with a broad audience.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Implement PQC solution architectures across reference architectures.
• Transition products, systems, and environments to post-quantum standards.
• Analyze OS environments and network configurations for PQC.
• Oversee documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes for IA/security requirements.
• Collaborate with cryptographers, mathematicians, and physicists to advance PQC initiatives.
