Job summary

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Post-Production Auto Technician in Wood Village, OR. The role involves light maintenance, fluid checks, and quality inspections to identify issues during post-production. Minimum 6 months of pro automotive repair experience is required.

Two shifts available with mandatory overtime as needed. Starting pay ranges from $20 to $23 per hour, with benefits including health coverage, paid time off, ASE/tool reimbursements, and tuition repayment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass background check; may be subject to MVR check.
• Reading, writing, speaking and understanding English required.

We’re looking for Automotive Mechanics with a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive repair experience to join us at Carvana – the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500. As an Entry‑Level Post‑Production Auto Technician, you’ll be expected to perform light maintenance, fluid checks, and/or conduct quality inspections on our vehicles to look for any imperfections or repairs that may be needed throughout the post‑production process.

Pay Range: $20 – $23 hourly (Based on level of experience)

• Pay: Starting pay for this position is $20/hr.
• Schedule: We offer two shifts at this location. Please keep in mind that all locations are subject to mandatory overtime based on business need.
  • First shift: Mon‑Fri 6 am‑3 pm

General qualifications and requirements

• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools – must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. Some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
• An ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing production environment while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
• Use of safety equipment that may include but not be limited to face shield or goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Mandatory overtime may be required to meet customer commitments.
