Job summary

Medical City Weatherford is seeking a Post Partum Registered Nurse to join our patient‑centered care team. In collaboration with patients, families, and the care team, you will assess nursing needs, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes while guiding LVN and non‑licensed staff on the unit.

The RN will provide care across adolescent to geriatric populations, participate in charge nurse duties, and ensure practice aligns with hospital policies and standards. No travel required.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start date.
• STABLE certification within 60 days of start date.
• RN credentials required (RN) Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assess nursing care needs and plan interventions.
• Supervise LVN and non-licensed staff on the unit.
• Perform charge nurse duties and coordinate patient care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

In collaboration with patient, patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN is responsible for assessing the nursing care needs of patients, planning interventions and evaluating outcomes of care. The RN provides direct care and/or supervises nursing care of LVN’s and non-licensed nursing staff. The RN is responsible for providing care consistent with the Nursing Department’s policies, procedures and standards of practice.

RN’s are responsible for providing care, which is appropriate to the age specific (adolescent, adult and geriatric patients), developmental and safety needs of the assigned patient population. In addition to the RN duties and responsibilities, the RN scope includes charge duties. The charge nurse makes patient assignments and supervises and directs the staff and unit activities for the assigned shift.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• STABLE must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
• No Travel Required
• 2 Required Years of Experience
