The role supports individuals experiencing overdoses or substance use disorders, and participates in mobile syringe service operations.
Duties are focused on the PORC program and align with the department's mission to reduce harm while delivering compassionate care to the community.
Job Summary:This individual will function as a rapid responder to provide overdose response within Craven County for individuals who have experienced an overdose reversal or who are suffering from a substance use disorder and have come to the attention of Craven County EMS, CarolinaEast EMS, local law enforcement, and local health clinics. Serves as an active participant in mobile syringe service program. Duties of the PORC are limited solely to the role and department.
