Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the General Surgery, 7A1 post-operative unit. This 26-bed unit specializes in recovery and management of adult surgical patients and maintains high standards of patient safety and outcomes.

Responsibilities include delivering nursing care, planning and documenting care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote early mobility and wound healing. Florida RN licensure is required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and licensed to practice in Florida.
• BSN is preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care to patients in the post-operative unit following established policies and guidelines.
• Plans and implements care, documents assessments, and communicates goal-directed plans of care.
• Upholds patient rights and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
