Job summary

Catholic Health's Sisters of Charity Hospital seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive health assessment, diagnosis and treatment in the surgical/post-operative setting.

As a credentialed independent practitioner, you will lead care with the medical staff, support anesthesia and nursing teams, and ensure quality standards. This full-time role involves 13-hour shifts, complex patient management, and involvement in credentialing processes per NYS requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in NP and NYS NP certification.
• NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Board Certified by AACN or AANP; BLS required.
• 3+ years of NP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide health assessments, diagnosis and treatment for acute and sub-acute illnesses.
• Collaborate with surgical/post-operative teams to maintain standards of care.
• Support credentialing and privileging processes with Medical Staff office.
