Job summary

Jersey City Medical Center is seeking a Professional Registered Nurse for the Post Intensive Care Unit-I in Jersey City. The role is part-time with a day shift from 7:00am to 7:00pm, requiring active NJ RN licensure or multistate license with NJ endorsement and BLS certification.

The nurse will provide high-quality care in collaboration with the medical team, adhere to the NJ Nurse Practice Act, and participate in department and hospital initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement.
  • BLS certification through American Heart Association.
  • Graduate from an accredited NLN School of Nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff within the NJ Nurse Practice Act.
  • Implement hospital policies, procedures and performance improvement activities.
  • Administer age-appropriate nursing care for assigned patients and coordinate with the care team.

Education

NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
BLS certification through American Heart Association
