Position Summary
The Post Harvest Lead provides care and support for Post Harvest processes through abiding by policies, procedures and operational guidelines. This position is responsible for proper care of all plants while assuring quality to expected company standards and ensuring a safe work environment.

- Trim Over 1,000 grams a day(when trimming)
- Buck Over 60 Plants a Day (when bucking)
- Cure Product in Cure Room based off Management Cure Schedule
- Retrieves/Returns product from/to the Cure Room for Post Harvesters to trim
- Retrieves/Returns product from/to the Cure Room for Mobius Operators to run product
- Retrieves product from the Dry Room for Post Harvesters to buck
- Quality Checks other Post Harvesters Finished Flower
- Sanitizes Cure Tubes
- Run Clean Up at the end of the day and adhering to the Trim Room End of Day Cleaning Checklist
- Supervises defoliation of Harvests and hangs plants in drying room
- Finished flower that has been trimmed, weights need to be recorded on provided logs
- After bucking an entire strain, weights need to be gathered for Bucked Weight and Waste Weight on provided logs
- Record how many plants each person bucked by counting the plant tag bags and consolidating the bags and recording the numbers on the provided logs
- Retrieve equipment and restock supplies when needed and at the end of the day
- Inspecting product for mold diseases, fungus , bugs, or abnormalities.
- Cleaning and proper sanitation of all work areas as well as any tools used in trimming, curing, etc.
- Follow all rules and standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain safe and healthy work environment by following OSHA regulations, organization standards and legal regulations
- Keep good records and follow good documentation practices
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years or older (State Requirement).
- Must pass a background check.
- Ability to work in a highly regulated environment with strict compliance standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- 1-2 years minimum experience in regulated cannabis cultivation preferred.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks.
- This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE
- Work environment includes exposure to but not limited to, chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, extreme heat temperatures, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, noise, protective gear, vibrations, and water
