onsemi in Hopewell Junction, NY is seeking a Post-Fab Technician to support semiconductor manufacturing, equipment maintenance, process execution, and day-to-day operations in a cleanroom. This hands-on role requires learning semiconductor processes, troubleshooting, and maintaining tooling to sustain production flow while upholding safety and quality standards.

This position features 12-hour compressed night shifts and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of technical manufacturing experience.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day in a cleanroom while wearing PPE.
Fluent in English (spoken and written) and good documentation skills.
Self-motivated with initiative and drive to exceed performance expectations.

Responsibilities

Operate production tools safely and efficiently within a cleanroom environment.
Load/unload wafers, materials, and tools according to procedures.
Monitor equipment performance, alarms, and system statuses.
Support production goals by maintaining equipment uptime and tool availability.
Follow safety, ESD, and contamination control guidelines.
Learn and monitor semiconductor manufacturing processes; assist with process setup and optimization.
Perform inspections, measurements, and basic data collection for process stability.
Identify deviations and escalate to engineering or leadership as required.
Perform preventative maintenance and assist with repairs and calibrations.
Maintain maintenance logs and assist with qualifications and startups.
