Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a research scientist to conduct experiments, design research protocols, and collaborate with faculty mentors. The successful candidate will have a PhD or equivalent degree and experience from their PhD program.
This role involves analyzing data, preparing scientific papers, and developing hypotheses. Candidates must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and possess excellent laboratory and computer skills.
Conducts research, designs experiments, analyzes data, and presents findings under the mentorship of an established RI principal investigator or Senior Research Scientists. The appointment is a maximum of seven years in length.
PhD or equivalent degree in relevant field of science, required.
Research experience from PhD program, required.
OCCASIONALLY: Bend/twist, Climb stairs/ladder, Lifting / Carrying: 11-20 lbs

Pressure in this position will vary depending on the workload. The workload will be heavy but manageable most of the time. Pressure may arise in the face of deadlines associated research and manuscript writing.
