The applicant will perform research on a USDA-funded project on partial desalination for salt-tolerant crops. This will include laboratory work, writing papers, corresponding with the research team, and other duties as assigned. Perform laboratory/greenhouse experiments to investigate the salt tolerance of various plants. Analyze data, share with the research team, prepare publications, and otherwise organize and disseminate the findings of the laboratory studies. Train and assist other postdocs, students, and faculty with aspects of the research project, including reviewing their work and helping to integrate the various aspects of the multidisciplinary project. Other duties as assigned.
Ph.D. in a field related to the funded project. Preferred Education Area: Plant sciences Experience with laboratory/greenhouse studies similar to the funded project.
