Job description

The candidate for this position will be a highly motivated individual with a track record of academic achievements and a Ph.D. degree (or will be in the process of completing a Ph.D. program) in computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, biomedical informatics, biostatistics or a related discipline.

Required qualifications include:

• Expertise and experience in machine learning or image processing/computer vision
• Proficiency in computer programming
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• One or more first-author journal papers published or accepted for publication in a good international journal

Preferred (but not required) qualifications include:

• Experience with analysis of medical images
• Experience with deep learning
• Experience with collaborative filtering algorithms
• Proficiency in statistical analysis
• Experience with reader studies and eye-tracking
