Role Description

The Post Construction Cleaner role at Cleaning Clever LLC is an on-site position based in Ocala, FL. In this role, the cleaner removes construction dust and debris, wipes and sanitizes surfaces, and cleans floors, windows, fixtures, and appliances to prepare spaces for occupancy. Daily tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, detailed cleaning of kitchens and bathrooms, and checking for paint, adhesive, and other residue on surfaces. The cleaner follows safety guidelines, uses appropriate cleaning products and equipment, and adheres to project timelines and quality standards. The role also involves communicating with supervisors or site leads about progress, issues, and supply needs, and working cooperatively with other team members to complete jobs efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in post-construction, janitorial, or commercial cleaning work, with attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Ability to use common cleaning tools and equipment (vacuums, mops, floor machines, ladders) safely and effectively.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry supplies or equipment for extended periods, including lifting up to moderate weights.
• Knowledge of basic safety practices, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals, use of personal protective equipment, and awareness of construction-site hazards.
• Reliable transportation to work sites in and around Ocala, FL, and willingness to work varied schedules based on project needs.
• Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent quality with minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and respect for clients’ property and confidentiality.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; previous experience in cleaning or construction environments is a plus.
