Job summary

Cloudflare seeks a Government Contracts Post-Award Specialist based in Washington, DC to manage post-award governance, ensuring contracts remain current, compliant, and paid after signature. You will leverage automated workflows to deliver, report, invoice, and support without interruption, coordinating with legal, finance, support, and security teams to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Direct experience managing post-award tasks for U.S. government contracts, including CDRL tracking, invoice reconciliation, and contractor reporting within automated frameworks.
• Prior experience in a U.S. federal contracting role is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with U.S. federal procurement and vendor-management systems (SAM.gov, DSBS, ORBIT).
• Knowledge of FAR provisions related to subcontracting, invoicing, and contract reporting.

Responsibilities

• Credential and Portal Stewardship: Maintain registrations in sovereign infrastructure systems globally and ensure continuous bidding and payment eligibility.
• Data Parity Auditing: Direct automated audits to reconcile internal invoicing, tax records, and portal profiles to prevent payment issues.
• Contract Deliverable Management (CDRLs): Extract requirements, build reporting schedules, and oversee recurring deliverables to client agencies.
• Customer Performance Awareness: Collaborate with Support and use AI reviewers to monitor obligations and triage issues affecting performance ratings.
• Contract Performance Reporting: Oversee CPARS-like cycles ensuring timely submissions to protect past-performance records.
• Compliance Certification Coordination: Coordinate certifications for government contract compliance with internal teams.
• RFx and Knowledge Systems: Maintain central RFx repository with automated content updates and cross-functional coordination.

About the Role

Cloudflare’s ability to meet the unique regulatory, contractual, and operational requirements of government customers is vital to our business. This role executes Post-Award Governance, serving as the operational engine that keeps contracts current, compliant, and paid after the signature hits the page. When a public sector deal closes, the contract package lands with you-from that moment forward, you leverage advanced operational workflows and automated data pipelines to ensure we deliver, report, invoice, and support without interruption.

Responsibilities

• Credential and Portal Stewardship: Maintain active registrations in sovereign infrastructure systems globally (including SAM.gov, ORBIT, UK G-Cloud, EU TED, and regional procurement portals), utilizing automated data layers to ensure Cloudflare retains continuous bidding and payment eligibility across all public sector jurisdictions.
• Data Parity Auditing: Direct automated audit workflows over foundational data layers to reconcile internal invoicing, tax records (EIN, legal business name), and active federal portal profiles—preventing payment freezes or rejections by oversight programs such as the U.S. Treasury "Do Not Pay" Working System.
• Contract Deliverable Management (CDRLs): Extract requirements from executed contracts, build automated reporting schedules, and oversee the submission of mandatory recurring deliverables (including Contract Activity Reports and Contractor Profile Reports) to client agencies on time.
• Customer Performance Awareness: Partner with Customer Support and leverage the Customer Escalation AI Reviewer to monitor contract obligations, proactively triaging technical issues that could affect past-performance ratings or future business.
• Contract Performance Reporting: Oversee customer contract performance evaluation cycles (such as CPARS), ensuring accurate, timely submissions that protect Cloudflare’s past-performance record.
• Compliance Certification Coordination: Coordinate ongoing certifications for government contract compliance with Supply Chain, HR, and internal teams to meet employment regulations, responsibility determinations, and global eligibility criteria.
• RFx and Vendor Knowledge Systems: Maintain and optimize the central repository for RFx responses by using automated knowledge management workflows, updating content in real time, and coordinating with cross-functional subject matter experts.

Examples of Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• Direct experience managing post-award tasks for U.S. government contracts, including CDRL tracking, invoice reconciliation, and contractor reporting within automated frameworks.
• Prior experience as a U.S. federal contracting officer (or comparable federal acquisition role) strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with U.S. federal procurement and vendor-management systems (SAM.gov, DSBS, ORBIT), combined with a working knowledge of international government contracting frameworks, global portals, and regional compliance standards.
• Working knowledge of FAR provisions related to subcontracting plans, invoicing, and contract reporting.
• Familiarity with government contracting systems outside the United States.
• Comfort collaborating across legal, finance, support, and security teams to manage automated workflows in a fast-moving environment.
• Organizational discipline with experience overseeing automated reporting pipelines and managing multiple recurring deadlines.
