Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team in Lawrence, Kansas. This full-time opportunity (5 days/week) offers autonomy, exceptional support, and earning potential in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold NP or PA license in Kansas.
• DEA license required or available.
• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical exams.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans.
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulations.
