Job summary

Gateway Unlimited Living LLC is seeking a compassionate and organized Full-Time Positive Support Analyst to join our Minnesota-based team. This role focuses on delivering person-centered support to individuals receiving 245D services, helping them build skills, gain independence, and reach personal goals.

The analyst will implement positive support strategies, monitor progress, collect data, and ensure services align with individual needs and 245D requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, human services, behavioral science, education, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities, behavioral support needs, or other human services populations preferred.
• Knowledge of person-centered practices and positive support strategies.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to build positive and professional relationships with individuals and their support teams.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the service area.
• Must be able to complete required background studies and Minnesota 245D requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement person-centered positive support strategies.
• Support individuals in developing independence, communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Observe individuals in their homes and communities and identify areas where additional support may be beneficial.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to direct support staff.
• Monitor implementation of support strategies and make recommendations for adjustments when needed.
• Collect, review, and maintain accurate documentation and data related to individual progress.
• Collaborate with individuals, families, case managers, guardians, and other members of the support team.
• Participate in team meetings and provide professional recommendations.
• Assist with identifying triggers, barriers, and opportunities for positive behavioral change.
• Promote dignity, choice, independence, and community inclusion.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and Minnesota 245D requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
• Complete required training and maintain all qualifications necessary for the position.
• Travel to client homes, community settings, and other locations as needed.
