Job summary

BD (Becton, Dickinson, and Company) in Columbus, Nebraska, is seeking a full-time manufacturing professional for the D-Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM). Responsibilities include ISM/Sterilizer/Inspection tasks, monitoring quality, performing changeovers, troubleshooting, and maintaining GMP-compliant documentation.

High School Diploma or GED preferred; two years manufacturing experience acceptable in lieu. Strong teamwork, communication, and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• In lieu of a High School Diploma/GED, a minimum of two years of manufacturing experience is required.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assignments may include ISM/Sterilizer/Inspection, Plunger Rod/Flow Wrappers, or Multi Vac/Case Pak operations.
• Monitor operations to ensure product quality and optimal equipment performance.
• Make equipment adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
• Perform or assist with product and equipment changeovers.
• Assist line technicians and setter/operators with equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with GMP requirements.
• Perform quality inspections and process tests, and accurately record required data.
• Communicate with Utilities and Scheduling teams to maintain appropriate material inventory levels.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and improve work processes.
• Perform other duties as needed to support business needs.
