Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver) in Portland, OR. You will provide customer service, patrol retail locations, support access control, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, comfort with computers or tablets, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Shifts include daytime and evening hours with a pay rate of $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service in a security or retail environment.
• Ability to conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence.
• Familiarity with access control/badge procedures is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and adjacent areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns to site contacts.
• Respond calmly to incidents following established procedures and document decisions.
• Maintain logs and incident reports to deter theft and unauthorized activity.
