Job summary

Raymond James in Huntsville, AL is seeking an analyst to assist in analyzing portfolio analytics, asset allocation, and investment holdings within client portfolios. You will prepare industry and company research, build financial models, and support advisors with research and analytics for strategy papers and client proposals.

The role involves collaboration with Financial Advisors, preparation of written reports, and participation in client meetings to understand goals and tolerances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years’ experience in the financial services industry with an emphasis on conducting market research and analysis.
• An equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training as approved by Human Resources.
• Licenses such as SIE, Series 7, and Series 63/65/66 may be required by state.

Responsibilities

• Collects fundamental research on related companies for Financial Advisors.
• Uses analytical tools, software and methodologies to research investment products, asset allocation and portfolio comparisons.
• Assists in preparation of written industry and company specific reports.
• Assists in development of financial models for revenue and income forecasts.
• Assists with research and analytics used in Investment Strategy white papers for Financial Advisors.
• Prepares presentations, portfolio/equity analyses, and proposals for High Net Worth and institutional clients and prospects.
