Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern to apply academic knowledge in a professional business environment while gaining hands-on experience. The Practice Management Solutions Intern will support initiatives across health system consulting and solution portfolios, working with leadership to learn healthcare delivery and business transformation.

Start Date: June 7, 2027; End Date: August 13, 2027; Location: Remote, USA.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Degree program related to healthcare administration, consulting, finance, economics, business administration, or supply chain.
• Rising sophomore, junior, or senior preferred.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic projects and operational initiatives across consulting, managed services, onboarding, and project management.
• Analyze data and develop insights, reports, and recommendations for leadership decisions.
• Create presentations, project deliverables, process documentation, and executive-ready materials.
• Assist with project coordination, meeting facilitation, action items, and stakeholder communications.
• Contribute to process improvement and innovation initiatives to enhance effectiveness and client service.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects aligned with strategic priorities.
• Present project outcomes and learnings at internship conclusion.

As a Summer 2027 Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a professional business environment while gaining meaningful, hands‑on experience. The Practice Management Solutions (PMS) Intern will support strategic and operational initiatives across Cencora's health system consulting and solution portfolios. Working closely with portfolio leadership, the intern will gain exposure to healthcare consulting, project delivery, operational excellence, and business transformation while contributing to initiatives that support both client engagements and internal business priorities. Throughout the internship, you will work on real business initiatives, collaborate with team members and leaders, develop professional skills, and contribute to projects that support Cencora's purpose of creating healthier futures. This internship is designed for students who are curious, motivated, and eager to learn while making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic projects and operational initiatives across consulting, managed services, onboarding, and project management functions.
• Analyze data and develop insights, reports, and recommendations to support leadership decision-making.

• Assist with project coordination, meeting facilitation, action item tracking, and stakeholder communications.
• Contribute to process improvement and innovation initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and client service delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects aligned with Practice Management Solutions strategic priorities.
• Support ongoing projects, reporting, analysis, or process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and internship program activities.
• Present project outcomes, recommendations, or key learnings at the conclusion of the internship.

Education and Experience

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to undergraduate or master's degree in healthcare administration, consulting, finance, economics, business administration, supply chain etc.
• Rising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.
