Job summary

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager to join our team in Indianapolis. This role will manage portfolios and provide analysis and selection of securities as fiduciary investments.

Essential duties include managing client portfolios, communicating with clients, and executing purchases/sales in alignment with policies and directives. CFA designation is a plus and benefits include 401k, health coverage, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of related investments experience.
• CFA designation would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage investments of assigned client portfolios.
• Communicate with clients using multiple formats (in person, phone, written).
• Direct purchases and sales in accordance with company policies and client directives.
• Administer asset mix in accordance with company policies and client directives.
• Contribute to investment marketing and reporting material.
• Research, review and recommend on Guidance Lists securities.
• Execute sales/purchases of securities.
• Coordinate with other division personnel in a team-based client service approach.
• Support new business efforts with investment research and by assisting in completing RFPs.

In order to be successful in this position, we require the following:
