Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a financial services setting, specifically in corporate finance, financial modeling or portfolio/fund management.
• Strong analytical orientation and ability to perform financial and valuation analysis.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and strong multi-tasking/time management abilities.
• Good judgment, problem solving and independent initiative; proactive in a small team; collaborative.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for portfolio analysis and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a series of alternative investment funds and related investment vehicles (as context shows).
• Conduct fund modeling to drive portfolio construction, leverage and liquidity strategy.
• Assist with deal allocation for funds with overlapping mandates.
• Present portfolio analyses and data-driven recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor fund constraints and tax considerations; assist with dividend policy development.
• Track industry trends to inform strategic decisions; prepare ad-hoc analyses.
• Coordinate with investing, debt capital markets and asset management teams on timing and impact.
