Salesforce is hiring a Portfolio Leader to directly manage and grow a team of technical AI specialists deploying Agentforce solutions inside complex customer environments. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can drive engineering excellence while operating at the executive level. This is not a traditional people manager, but a mission‑critical multiplier on the agentic frontier. You will lead a blended delivery team made up of two specialist functions: Forward Deployed Engineers (Technical Builders – who design, build, and deploy AI Agents directly in customer environments) and Deployment Strategists (Strategic Builders – customer‑facing advisors who shape AI strategy, define use cases, and drive adoption). Together, these teams work alongside customers to co‑build and deliver agentic AI solutions on a single large enterprise account or across multiple engagements simultaneously. You’ll set the engineering standards, unblock complex customer deployments, and scale the talent that is shipping production AI today.

The typical base salary range for this position is $155,190 - $263,060 annually. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. In California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range for this role in those locations is $170,660 - $289,380 per year.
