Job summary

Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany is seeking a Senior Manager, Group Portfolio Execution in Burlington, MA. You will drive post-deal integrations and carve-outs across our healthcare, life science, and electronics initiatives, coordinating with program leads and senior leaders.

You will build playbooks, governance frameworks, and KPI dashboards, while guiding cross-functional teams through complex transitions and ensuring timely, data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with global, matrixed organizations.
• Minimum 4 years as a consultant coordinating different stakeholders and functions.
• Solid understanding of post-merger integrations and/or carve-outs.
• Knowledge of Life Science / Healthcare and/or Electronics industries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and agile working abilities.
• Ability to manage global stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Data-driven decision making and change management capability.

Responsibilities

• Drive post-deal execution for integrations and carve-outs across business sectors.
• Develop transaction plans with timelines, resources, and roadmaps.
• Lead workstreams and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Establish governance with SteerCo cadence and escalation paths.
• Identify and resolve risks and issues; ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Build relationships with senior leaders across units and functions.
• Translate lessons learned into improved execution playbooks.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
