As a Portfolio Analytics & Strategy Analyst Senior within PNC’s Customer and Marketing Analytics group, you will be based in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, PA, Cleveland, OH, Wilmington, DE, Tysons, VA, New York City, Houston, TX, Chicago, IL, Birmingham, AL, or Washington, DC. This position is primarily located in a PNC location, with responsibilities requiring time in the office or in the field regularly. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely at the manager's discretion.

Job Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and other partners to develop and manage audience selection, contact, and testing strategies to optimize performance of Direct Marketing account management campaigns/programs for Home Equity and Credit card products.
2. Work across diverse stakeholder groups to build consensus on strategy implementation and monthly campaign execution.
3. Create and maintain documentation related to risk management, pricing, data processing, audit controls, and process management.
4. Leverage business and product expertise to analyze large datasets, improve risk-adjusted returns, deliver profitable growth, and communicate conclusions.
5. Synthesize analytical results and develop, recommend, and implement business strategies to improve lending decisions, manage risk, increase revenues, target marketing, reduce losses, meet business goals, and enhance performance. Establish baselines and track actual performance against expectations.
6. Use data mining skills to develop new expansion or suppression strategies to manage customer experience and profitability.
7. Analyze gaps, identify new opportunities, and provide recommendations with supporting business cases.
8. Apply predictive models, third-party data, and other tools for segmentation and targeting to provide insights into portfolio risk.
9. Collaborate with business, finance, marketing, and risk partners to assess and establish credit risk appetite and understand its implications, along with establishing policies and procedures for risk management.
10. Communicate complex observations and recommendations to stakeholders to build consensus on strategy approval and implementation.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• BS/BA in STEM with 5+ years of related experience or Master’s in STEM with 3+ years of related experience. Masters in Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Math preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership qualities to drive results.
• A sense of urgency in delivering results on time.
• Proactive and independent thinker.
• Technical skills: Python, Hadoop (Hive/Impala), SQL, SAS, Tableau, Statistics, Teradata.
• Business knowledge: Consumer Lending Products, Credit Card Products, marketing waterfall process (preferred).
• Some travel required (1-2 times per year, Pittsburgh, PA or Wilmington, DE).
