Job summary

The IDB Group is seeking an active graduate student for a two-month internship in Washington, DC, January 16 to March 15, 2027. The Intern Consultant will support data-driven solutions for portfolio monitoring and data integration, gaining hands-on experience in development work and corporate management of the Bank.

Responsibilities include enhancing dashboards (Power BI/Tableau), data source mapping, and KPI development within a collaborative, client-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Active graduate student in computer science, data science, industrial engineering or similar.
• Graduation date after internship period.
• Fluency in English with knowledge of another Bank language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and help improve Power BI and Tableau dashboards for portfolio visibility.
• Assist data source mapping and data extraction for accessibility and validation.
• Contribute to centralized portfolio monitoring dashboards for performance and compliance.
• Support mapping of portfolio management processes to identify improvements.
