Job summary

Arcana is hiring a Portfolio Analyst (Client Integrations) to scale onboarding for hedge funds and asset managers onto its portfolio intelligence platform. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.7 (required).
• CFA, FRM, or MBA is a strong plus.
• Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or data programming languages (Python, R) is a bonus.
• Prior experience working with institutional financial technology platforms or data providers (e.g., portfolio analytics, risk systems, OMS/PMS, market data platforms) is a strong plus.
• Former Division I or world-class athletes are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Own client onboarding and implementations end-to-end — from portfolio data ingestion and validation to successful go-live
• Work directly with hedge fund clients to map, reconcile, and validate portfolio data across multiple systems
• Integrate portfolio, position, and market data using APIs and Arcana’s data integration framework
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate client workflows into scalable platform capabilities
• Diagnose and resolve portfolio data issues across exposures, performance, and reconciliation workflows
• Build and improve data pipelines and integrations with third-party data providers (e.g., market data, security master, risk models)
• Identify opportunities to improve Arcana’s data infrastructure and client onboarding workflows
• Liaise with third parties and clients to level up industry standards for quality and execution.

Arcana is building a portfolio intelligence platform for hedge funds and asset managers — delivering deep visibility into risk, performance decomposition, crowding, and the true drivers of returns.

While many investment technology platforms require weeks or months to implement, Arcana typically integrates client portfolios within 24 hours, enabling investment teams to quickly analyze portfolio exposures, risk drivers, and performance.

We are hiring a Portfolio Analyst (Client Integrations) to help scale this capability as Arcana continues onboarding hedge funds and asset managers to the platform.

This role reports to Arcana’s Head of Integrations and focuses on onboarding hedge fund and asset manager clients onto the platform, ensuring their portfolio data is accurately integrated, validated, and ready for analysis. This is a high-growth, high-impact role with significant ownership over client integrations and onboarding workflows.
