FocusPoint is supporting a confidential client with the immediate need for a Portfolio Analyst who can strengthen financial visibility across active initiatives and deliver clear, actionable reporting to senior leadership. This role is part of a broader effort to refine forecasting accuracy, improve portfolio level insights, and enhance decision support across the organization.
You will work directly with finance and operational leaders, stepping into a fast moving environment where precision, clarity, and structured analysis are essential. The ideal professional brings a consultative mindset, strong modeling capability, and the ability to manage large data sets with confidence.
Build and refine financial models that support budgeting, forecasting, long range planning, and scenario analysis
Analyze KPIs, variance drivers, and operational metrics across multiple projects or portfolios
Develop and automate reporting tools using Excel and platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
Consolidate large data sets into clear portfolio level insights for executive review
Partner with cross functional teams to evaluate business cases, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities
Support audit readiness, SOX documentation, and financial controls
Identify inefficiencies in financial workflows and implement best practices for scalability and accuracy
Five to ten years of progressive experience in FP and A, corporate finance, or strategic analysis
Advanced Excel capability and proven financial modeling experience
Strong proficiency with data visualization tools; Power BI experience is a plus
Solid understanding of GAAP, budgeting cycles, and enterprise reporting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
Ability to translate complex data into concise insights for senior leadership
Proven success in fast paced, project driven environments
CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred but not required
