Job summary

Jobtailor in Columbus, OH is seeking a finance professional to assess risk across a loan portfolio and oversee financial statement reviews. You will play a key role in evaluating credit risk and ensuring accurate financial documentation.

You will collaborate with internal partners and customers to discuss financing opportunities, and you will communicate with stakeholders about documentation, credit services, treasury management, and loan processes.

Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, investments, business, data analysis, or related quantitative discipline.
• Familiarity with business financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow).
• Experience in customer service or customer-facing roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort on the phone.
• At least 1 year of experience in commercial underwriting, portfolio management, or similar financial analysis position (Bonus).
• Experience reviewing personal credit reports, business tax returns, personal tax returns, and personal balance sheets (Bonus).

Responsibilities

• Complete account reviews from the assigned loan portfolio to determine risk profile.
• Oversee the collection of quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Collaborate with internal partners and customers to fluently answer and address questions about new financing and/or business opportunities.
• Communicate regularly with key stakeholders in documentation preparation, credit services, treasury management, asset management, and credit administration, as it pertains to customers’ needs, products and services offered, and the loan process.

• Familiarity with business financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Experience in customer service or customer‑facing roles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort and confidence on the phone
• At least one (1) full year of experience in commercial underwriting, portfolio management, or a similar financial analysis position (Bonus)
• Experience reviewing personal credit reports, business tax returns, personal tax returns, and personal balance sheets (Bonus)
