Job summary

Hyp-tro Building Services in Laurel, MD is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper/Office Cleaner to maintain grounds, common areas and building exteriors. This full-time role runs 7am–3:30pm and pays $18.00 hourly to support a well-kept community.

Responsibilities include trash pickup, light maintenance, and assisting the maintenance supervisor, with emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and professional conduct. A valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, common areas, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings.
• Clean grounds and breezeways, light fixtures, stairway railings; power wash walkways and common areas; maintain dumpster/compactor areas.
• Remove office trash daily and assist Maintenance Supervisor/Community Manager as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns promptly and maintain curb appeal; uphold safety and company policies.

Summary:

Responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, common areas, building exteriors, office, parking lots trash pick up and other community buildings.

Reports to: Supervisor

Supervises: In the field / On call

Job Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions

Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, common areas, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings. This includes but is not limited to: cleaning all grounds and breezeways, cleaning out light fixture, painting stairway railings, power washing walkways & common areas and maintaining dumpster/compactor areas.

Remove trash from office areas daily.

Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Community Manager and/or perform assigned

Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available

Meticulously maintains curb appeal.

Assist management team with other various tasks required. Administrative

Uphold all company policies, goals and values. Employee Relations

Represent the Building in a professional manner at all times-on/off property.

Contribute to employee retention programs. Safety

Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner.

Immediately report all unsafe conditions. Additional Requirements
