Chartwells Higher Ed is hiring for a full-time PORTER position at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. The role offers a pay range of $16.00 to $22.00 per hour with benefits such as health insurance and on-the-job training.

Location is on site at 2420 Nicolet Drive, Green Bay, WI 54311. Schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday; hours may vary. Prior food service experience is preferred and lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.

• Removes trash and manages waste in designated containers.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assists with loading/unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with sanitation and safety requirements.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
