Eurest at T Rowe Price in Baltimore, MD is seeking a full-time Porter to support front-of-house operations and sanitation. You will assist with setup, bussing, inventory handling, and delivering safe service in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires experience in porter work, event setup, inventory, or customer service. You will follow HACCP standards, lift heavy deliveries safely, and help maintain clean dining areas during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of front-of-house areas including tables, counters, floors, and beverage stations.
• Bus and clear tables during peak service and prep before service.
• Transport dishes and utensils safely using trays, bus tubs, or carts.
• Wash dishes and sanitize stations to ensure smooth service flow.
• Ensure proper presentation, portions, and serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
• Assist with receiving heavy deliveries and transporting them to storage areas.

• Pay Range: $17.00 per hour to $19.00 per hour

Job Summary

Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the front of the house, including all tables, counters, floors, windows and beverage station.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures tables are bussed, cleared and cleaned and floors are cleared and swept during peak service times and are prepped prior to service.
• Follows safety procedures when transporting dishes and utensils from the front of the house to the kitchen area using trays, bus tubs or carts.
• Washes dishes, glasses and pots; cleans cooking stations and equipment to expedite a smooth flow of service while maintaining sanitation standards.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Keeps display equipment clean, free of debris and in compliance with all safety and sanitation standards during meal service.
• Helps receive heavy deliveries from dock and transports them to assigned storage areas while observing all safe lifting standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Personal commitment to your own safety and that of others.
• Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
  • The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
  • The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
  • The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
