Job summary

Mayfair Management Group is seeking a motivated maintenance porter to join our team. The role includes cleaning offices, models, common areas and vacant apartments, assisting with make readies and work orders, and performing light maintenance to keep properties neat, safe, and well–operated.

Applicants should be able to lift 50 lbs, work weekends and be on call after hours. Porter duties span from cleaning lobbies to restrooms and common areas across the properties.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to follow safety rules and read maintenance requests.
• Reliable team player capable of weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Keep grounds clean and tidy at all properties.
• Assist with make readies and work orders.
• Clean vacancies, lobbies, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways.
• Sweep, mop, and polish floors; wash windows and doors.
• Replace light bulbs and restock supplies as needed.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; navigate stairs and long walks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Porters do a bit of everything to keep our proprieties running cleanly and smoothly. Porters work to make sure our properties are neat, clean, free from clutter and safe.

You will Assist with make readies, work orders, painting and light maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Basic work order knowledge
• Keep Grounds Clean
• Assist maintenance with make readies and work orders
• Cleans vacancies as required.
• Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
• Cleans carpets, upholstered furniture, and woodwork. Washes windows, doors, and windowsills.
• Empties wastebaskets in the office and other trash receptacles throughout the community.
• Replaces rest room supplies and replaces light bulbs as necessary.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Requires extended walking and use of stairs
• Other duties as assigned.
