Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. in Pacifica, CA is seeking a Maintenance Worker to keep the community well maintained and welcoming. You will perform light repairs, groundskeeping, painting, and basic carpentry while coordinating with management to meet quality standards.

We require a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. On-call availability is required to respond to emergencies and ensure timely maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain amenity spaces and grounds, keeping them clean and functional.
• Work with management to maintain a clean, safe, and appealing property.
• Attend morning staff meetings to communicate daily vendor appointments and tasks.
• Communicate with maintenance staff, management and vendors on projects.
• Move heavy objects and drive maintenance trucks as needed.
• Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ELS is hiring for the position of Porter in Pacifica, California.

Whatyou’ll do:

As a Maintenance Worker you perform various maintenance duties including light appliance repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry, painting, groundskeeping, janitorial and more. You work as a team participant to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards set by ELS.

Your job will include:

• Ensure the amenity spaces are well maintained and working properly.
• Maintain grounds and keep them free from trash and debris.
• Work closely with management to maintain a clean, safe and appealingproperty.
• Attend morning staff meetings to communicate daily vendor appointments and required work.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with other maintenance workers, management and staff and work closely with them on all special maintenance projects.
• Report maintenance concerns directly to management and perform repairs.
• You will be required to move heavy objects, and you may drive maintenance trucks to various locations on the property.
• Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Skills & experience you need:

• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• High school diploma or the equivalent experience.
• Ability tolift upto 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.
• Willingto be on call for emergencies that arise after hours.

Estimated compensation for this position in the states of BC, CA, CO, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, VT and WA is:

Hourly: $18.00 - $18.00
