Job summary

Bill Jacobs VW is seeking a Porter to support daily service operations by moving vehicles between locations, assisting customers with quick pit stops, and staging vehicles for pickup. The role also includes gassing and cleaning executive and loaner vehicles, snow removal, and maintaining a clean, safe service drive and lot.

The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced automotive environment and is ready to help keep our service area running smoothly while contributing to a positive customer

• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Transport vehicles between locations and assist walk-in customers with quick pit stops such as checking tire pressure and fluids.
• Retrieve and stage vehicles for customer pickup and move vehicles to and from the car wash.
• Gas and clean executive and loaner vehicles; assist with snow removal to maintain safe drive and lot conditions.
• Perform general shop and facility cleaning and complete additional service-related tasks as assigned by the Service Manager or General Manager.

We’re excited to add a Porter to our team! This role supports our service operations by moving vehicles between locations, assisting customers with quick pit stops, staging vehicles for pickup, and helping keep our service drive, lot, and facility clean, safe, and running smoothly. From gassing and washing vehicles to assisting with snow removal and other daily needs, you’ll play a key role in delivering a great customer experience. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment and has a passion for the automotive industry..

What you'll be doing:

In this role, you will support daily service operations by transporting vehicles between locations, assisting walk-in customers with quick pit stops such as checking tire pressure and topping off fluids, retrieving and staging vehicles for customer pickup, and moving vehicles to and from the car wash. You will gas and clean executive and loaner vehicles, assist with snow removal to maintain safe service drive and lot conditions, perform general shop and facility cleaning, and complete additional service-related tasks as assigned by the Service Manager or General Manager.
